Transportation Industry Career Fair - January 13, 2019

TRB’s Careers in Motion Networking Fair was designed to support the broader transportation industry’s challenges around attracting and retaining its professional workforce. The Networking Fair will take place in conjunction with the TRB Annual Meeting, Sunday, January 13, 2018 from 10 am to 2 pm, in Hall A of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Attendance is $50 at the door which provides an all day pass to day-long events including orientation sessions, and afternoon networking receptions.
Join TRB for a day of professional development and networking. Your ticket includes:
Careers in Motion Networking Fair (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) This event will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet and network with prospective employers from a wide range of multimodal transportation-related disciplines.
Welcome and Attendee Orientation Session (2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) This session provides helpful information about how to become involved in TRB committee activities.
Exhibit Hall Opening and Reception (4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.) Attendees will learn about a variety of multimodal transportation-related products and services showcased by commercial organizations and TRB sponsors in a fun and vibrant environment, with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.

Transportation Research Board
The Transportation Research Board (TRB) provides innovative, research-based solutions to improve transportation. Part of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, TRB is a non-profit organization that provides independent, objective, and interdisciplinary solutions. TRB manages transportation research by producing publications and online resources. It convenes experts that help to develop solutions to problems and issues facing transportation professionals. TRB also provides advice through its policy studies that tackle complex and often controversial issues of national significance. TRB is powered by volunteers, learn how to connect with TRB to find out about new research and volunteer opportunities.

Stop by to have your resume reviewed by experienced hiring managers or to ask them any questions you may have about the interviewing/hiring process.
12:15-2:00 Networking Area
Swing by to mingle with your fellow colleagues. There will be designated areas for networking, separated by various disciplines.
